Abstract

The study was carried out to document the traditional uses of medicinal plants among the local communites around Gunung Jerai. A total of 14 species and 12 families are recorded with various uses, parts of used and method of application. Generally, there are six methods of application namely, boiling and drink, eaten as raw, used as drops, bathing, and applied through rubbing and poultice.
