Abstract
Out of the total eight species of small mammals caught, Tupaia glis proved to be the dominant species two study sites. Myrtaceous forest proves to hold a more diverse small mammal community in terms of species and number of individuals compared to upper dipterocarp forest but the distribution of individuals within a species in a community is more even at the latter.
