Agroforestry is basically a sustainable land management system which combines production of crops and forest plants on a same piece of land. Integration of selected horticultural crops annual and perennials form one of the important components in agroforestry. Integration of selected horticultural crops aims at increasing farm productivity and profitabilityenhancing farm income during non-productive phase of the anchor crop in particular. Current production technology and production systems of melons are discussed. Two case studies of successful commercial melon integration under immature oil palm and rubber are highlighted.
