Abstract

Irrigation trial on carambola Averrhoa Carambola L. was set up in September 1991. Three clones was planted namely B2 BIO and B17 with ratio 10 45 and 45 percent. Clone B17 has been choosen as sample. The planting distance was 6m x 6m planted on mineral soil Rasau Series.Effect of three irrigation levels4 12 and 30 liter/plant/dayduring drought was obtained inclusive of production from rainfed. Production was shown good response to irrigation when fruit development coincide with drought. Girth increment range from 5.6 mm/month to 7.6 mm/month. Overall growth rate does not response to irrigation due to sufficient rainfall after drought.
