Yuen P. M., . (1996) Parasitic nematodes on mandarin orange and pomelo in Peninsular Malaysia. [Proceedings Paper]
Abstract
Surveys of 20 mandarin orange farms and 16 pomelo farms in Peninsular Malaysia show several genera of parasitic nematodes associated with the crops. On mandarin orange they are: Rotylenchulus Helicotylenchus Criconemella Meloidogyne Pratylenchus Xiphinema and Tylenchorhynchus while those on pomelo are: Rotylenchulus Meloidogyne Helicotylenchus Criconemella Pratylenchus Longidorus Radopholus and Xiphinema. No obvious symptoms of nematode damage were found on the crops and there are also no cases of serious economic losses caused by nematodes on record locally.
