Abstract

The immature stages of E. decipiens are significantly affected by triflumuron via tarsal contact as compared to Untreated control. The majority of nymphs died in the same instar in which they were treated. It was observed that younger instars were affected more than later instars. The nymphs emerging from leaves treated with sublethal doses of triflumuron produced viable progeny after becoming adults. There was no significant difference between the percentage survival of nymphs produced by adults emerging from insects treated as second third fourth and fifth instar nymphs and the nymphs produced by untreated control adults.
