Abstract

The differential abundance and diversity of ichneumonids and braconids of star fruit and oil palms were studied in 1998 and 1999 respectively. The braconids seemed to be more abundance and diverse than the ichneumonids irrespective of the two agriculture habitats. We suggested ways to make use and materialized these two parasitoid groups for controlling insect pests oil palm and fruit orchard.
