Abstract
An attractive and economical method of disposing rice-husk is to incinerate it in a well designed and well controlled combustor such as a vertical cyclone combustor. The heat produced can be used to generate steam for electrical power generation. It was concluded that continuous combustion of rice-husk is possible in a vertical cyclone furnace with minimum pollution although the problem of utilization of rice-husk ash RHA is still unsolved
