Abstract

A study was conducted to investigate the effects of three different slopes 10-15 30-35 and 45-50 on the content of the nutrients P K Ca and Mg at two different soil depths 0-15 cm and 15-30 cm on soil cultivated with pepper Piper nigrum L.. The results showed that there was no significant difference P 0.05 in P content between the slopes at both the upper parts of the slope for the two soil depths. The slope gave significant difference in the Ca content of the soil. The effect of slope on the contents of the nutrients was in the decreasing order of Ca K Mg P.
