Abstract

The areas of thrust included studies related the properties of water in foods starch technology Malaysian freshwater fish and the improvement of soy protein-lipid films. Investigaions had also been carried out albeit to a lesser extent on internal tinplate can corrosion and the treatment of wastes from the food industry. Some recent advances in these fields of food research were highlighted and suggestions as to future directions to take with national needs in mind were made
