Abstract
Caseous lymphadenitis CLA is a bacterial disease which causes high economical losses in goats. The disease often occurs following punctured wound or injuries. Bacteriological means for isolation and identification of the causative organisms were adopted from the affected animals. Surgical intervention of the lesions was adopted successfully.
