Abstract
A phytochemical study of the leaves of K. flavida Blume Family : Apocynaceae has yielded two indole alkaloids with methly chanofruticosinates skeletal system. The compounds isolated from the methanol extract of the leaves by silica gel column chromatography were identified as the new alkaloid methyl 12-methoxy-N-decarbomethoxychanofruticosinate 1 along with a known alkaloid methyl 11 12-methylenedioxychanofruticosinate 2 on the basis of 2D-NMR data.
