Faridah Mustapha, . and Grinfeld M., . (2003) Modelling of Intraguild Predation IGP in non-structured population. [Proceedings Paper]
Abstract
Intraguild predation is a combination of predation and competition. This interaction is common among terrestrial arthropods granivores terrestial carnivores freshwater and marine invertebrates. From the empirical observations on population dynamics IGP can lead to rich array of possible outcomes such as exclusion coexistence priority effects alternative stable states and an increase in resource levels.
