Abstract
Many research had been carried out by various government and private agencies related to soil erosion issues nevertheless there is no research of this nature in getting the relationship between soil grading characteristics and the possible risk of soil erosion. It had been clearly pronounced the relationship between soil erosion features and its erodibility index. In this research it is found that the risk of soil erosion occurrence can be closedly linked based on the results of soil grading characteristics. A few samples from each soil erosion sites was taken an its grading characteristic identified. ROM equation After the name of researches ROSLAN and MAZIDAH is the used to get the new value of EI sub ROM thus leading to the establishement of ROM Scale which indicates the degree of soil erosion risk.
