Rao G.V., . and Dutta R.K., . (2001) Stabilization of coralline sand with cement. [Proceedings Paper]
Abstract
A laboratory study has been carried out to evaluate the behaviour of coralline sand stabilized with cement with a view to use it as a base or sub-base course in road and air-field pavements. Compaction tests were conducted on different sand-cement mixes and these results were used for CBR determination and for casting the cylindrical specimens for strength evaluation.Wetting and drying tests were also carried out to study the durability of the soil-cement mixes
