Abstract
the 35.7 increase of total export earnings to M151.9 million from M111.9 million in August 1982 was primarily attributed to the increase in volume of logs and sawn timber exported. The continuous low activities in the timber-related industries in the buying countries were responsible for the unsatisfactory export performance of the other timber products.
