Abstract

The article explained the grafting method that has been tested on Liberica coffee at the nursery stage. Grafting using the wedge method was found to give the highest average success (90.4 percent) and was the easiest to carry out (1.2 minutes/grafting). Splice method gave 81.5 percent and the time taken per grafting was 1.7 minutes. The L method was the most difficult (2.0 minutes/grafting) and gave the lowest average success (59.3 percent)
