Abstract
A study of some tillage practices together with certain weeding methods in rice cultivation was conducted over three seasons. Five tillage methods and two treatments were evaluated and compared. The decline in crop yield over the seasons was observed with those from minimum and zero tillage being more drastic. Although subsequent weeding was effective its effect on crop yield was less critical than the effect of tillage practices
