Abstract
The geometrid moth genus Entomopteryx Guenee a widespread taxon native to rainforests of tropical Asia is reviewed. The host association and biology of the type species E. Amputata are described for the first time based on field observations in northern Borneo. The documented association with a thelypteroid fern Sphaerostephanos together with characteristic larval behaviour confirm suspected placement of this genus in the tribe Lithinini (subfamily Ennominae) one of the few groups of pteridophagous Lepidoptera. A synonymic checklist is provided to be Malaysian species
