Abstract
A patch made of resinous Cinnamon wood dust and 2.5 per cent ethephon in a ratio of 2 g: 8 ml applied to scrapped bark increased rubber yield by 36 - 41 per cent over that of unstimulated trees with a concurrent 19 per cent fewer number of tappings. Tapped on 1/8 S cut the task size could be increased to 900 trees. The patch was replaced after seven weeks and the cost of the patch inclusive of material and labour was 5.3 cents
