Abstract
Chromolaena odorata (L) K and R (formerly Eupatorium odoratum) is a major perennial weed species in warmer regions of the world specially in plantation crops. It belongs to Asteraceae (Compositae) family. Now it is a weed of 13 crops in 23 countries. C. odorata has the ability to produce a large number of seeds per plant. This weed can be controlled by using mechanical cultural chemical or biological methods
