Abstract

This study involved two species of Toona namely T. sureni and T. sinensis covering seed germination effects of desiccation and storage temperature on seed viability. In general Toona shows epigeal germination where the cotyledons develop and function as photosynthetic organs germination after six to nine days tolerance to desiccation and retention of viability at low storage temperatures
