Abstract
Analytical results of foliar samples collected at four intensities and soil samples at three intensities were studied. There was no significant difference in the nutrient composition of laminae and petioles sampled at different intensities. In areas on steep terrain the effect of increasing sampling intensity does not appear to improve the precision of the results. In contrast to foliar results variabilities of soil test values are significant. Variations in results are attributed not only to field sampling intensity but also to the methods by which the soil test results are determined.
