Abstract

The results showed that N increased production growth and N content in the leaves. These increases are statistically significant. The kinds of N fertilizers: urea ammonium sulphate and ammonium chloride do not give difference which are statistically significant but there was a tendency that ammonium sulphate was better than the other two. statistically the frequency and the method of fertilizer applications do not give significant influence on the production but there was a tendency that two applications a year was better than once or three applications a year. The method of covering the fertilizer give better result than the method of broadcasting the fertilizer. The N content of the leaves are not significantly different in the kind of N fertilizers frequency and method of applications of the fertilizer
