Abstract

In planning the agricultural use of land the climatic and land characteristics are considered in choosing the suitable crops. The general climatic conditions of Peninsular Malaysia are described including drought analysis and water balance. Based on the general climatic and soil requirements for selected perennial crops maps showing the distribution and suitability of these crops are presented
